TESTIMONIAL FROM HALSEY (POP-STAR)

Below is a screenshot of a Facebook post written by the pop-star HALSEY. This internationally famous singer and songwriter claimed to have been inspired by Roman Payne's novel, The Wanderess, when she wrote and recorded her debut album, Badlands, (Capitol Records). She also gave credit to Roman Payne's novels and poetry for helping her to develop the freedom-loving and "unapologetic" wanderess personality that made her famous.

Halsey became a fan of Roman Payne in 2013, when his book The Wanderess, first hit bookstores. Halsey was still an unknown artist at that point, and she used poetry from The Wanderess to compose "Hurricane" (a song that helped propel her to overnight fame).
